Aaron Maitland is the proud owner and operator of Pukekohe Auto Electrical. Originally from the Papakura/Drury area, he and his family have been living locally in Pukekohe for about 15 years now.
Aaron has a natural enthusiasm and passion for engines and machinery. Hes spent many years involved in motor cycle racing and more recently has taken up a new hobby in aerobatic flying of large scale radio controlled aeroplanes.
When hes not out flying planes you’ll probably find him walking his boxer and lab, or helping to take care of his 2 year old son who keeps him on his toes…
Aaron took over Pukekohe Auto Electrical in 2006 and has been consistently building the good name and reputation for the business. He previously owned a similar workshop in Takanini for 9 years. When you add his experience working at other auto electrical workshops hes clocked up an impressive 25 years experience within the auto electrical industry.
His original apprenticeship and training was done at Civic Auto Electrical, a large workshop in Auckland city and at Carrington Polytech where he gained his trade certificate in Automotive Electrical Engineering.
